I build and operate Linux-based infrastructure, Docker platforms, and automated operational workflows. My experience includes large-scale web infrastructure, server migrations, and self-hosted production services — including a 14-service healthcare SaaS platform migrated from Supabase Cloud to Hetzner with no critical downtime during cutover.

About

I am a DevOps / Platform Engineer based in Stuttgart, focused on Linux systems, Docker-based platforms, automation, and reliable day-to-day operations. I build infrastructure that is understandable, repeatable, and maintainable.

My background combines long-term Linux and web-infrastructure operations with hands-on migration, security hardening, performance troubleshooting, and service delivery. I work from the operating system and network layer through containers, reverse proxies, databases, and deployment workflows.

Selected Work & Projects

Healthcare SaaS Platform

Production infrastructure migration from Supabase Cloud to a self-hosted Hetzner VPS for a medical platform.

  • 14-service Docker Compose stack: API gateway, auth, REST API, realtime, storage, connection pooling, reverse proxy, and logging.
  • No critical downtime during the migration cutover.
  • Resolved Realtime synchronisation failures across mobile clients and the web admin portal.
  • PostgreSQL stabilisation with Supavisor connection pooling, plus UFW, SSH hardening, secret handling, and network isolation.

local-whisper-obsidian ↗

Offline voice-to-note pipeline using faster-whisper, Python, Docker, and systemd. Runs locally on CPU without cloud transcription APIs.

eigenbase ↗

One-command Ubuntu workstation bootstrap using Ansible for repeatable local development and infrastructure tooling setup.

eigenstack ↗

Homelab project for self-hosted services and reproducible infrastructure experiments on Hetzner.

  • Terraform-based provisioning experiments.
  • K3s and GitHub Actions learning environment.
  • Monitoring and operational documentation.

Knowledge Base

I maintain public engineering notes on Linux operations, containers, automation, Kubernetes, homelab infrastructure, and practical troubleshooting. They document what I build, test, and learn in the open.
